A book titled “Palms to Peaks: The Art of Janet Edwards,” published by Esri Press, is a collection of more than 60 full-color works that capture the history and natural beauty of California, including vistas, palms, flora and fauna of the state, including southern, northern, and coastal regions. Each color image is accompanied by a quote from Janet, and commentary by Fred Edwards, with insights into the regional and personal history of each depicted scene. The cloth-bound and jacketed edition includes an overview of the artist’s etching technique and process, which often includes a surrounding embossed image.
The first book-signing event was at Barnes and Noble, Redlands on Saturday, November 12, 2011, The book continues to be sold at Barnes and Noble, independent book stores, at Redlands Art Association, at ESRI Book Store – Redlands, at the artist’s studio, and on the internet.
